Test Retakes and Corrections
If you do poorly on a quiz or test, you may make test corrections on most assessments (never on pop quizzes!). Students will be asked to justify their reasoning in the hope that they can explain why they got the answer wrong on the first try. Notes are allowed on corrections.
More detailed directions for corrections are given in class.
Test corrections are done on the student's own time and are due the next time we meet once the quiz/test is returned.
Corrections receive 1/2 of the possible points.
If you were absent when a quiz or test was given, it is your responsibility to make arrangements to take the exam within one week. You will not be able to make up assessments during class time.
